Matchroom Sport has announced that on December 10th, a new champion will be crowned in a fight between the IBF heavyweight champion, Britain’s Anthony Joshua, and Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitshcko. Joshua has been forced to delay his scheduled November 26 fight to prepare for the big battle, which is set to take place in Manchester Arena.

With the WBA title now vacant, Klitshcko hopes to regain the gold that Fury defeated him for. It hasn’t yet been confirmed that the belt will be contested on December 10, but both fighters are urging officials to sanction the challenge.

The heavily-anticipated showdown is set to be one of the most lucrative of all time, with a £30 million purse expected for the winner.
